Winc is built in Rust on its own rendering engine. It launches in a tenth of a second and holds 100,000 lines in 52 MB. Multiple cursors, find and replace, and side-by-side diffs all respond the moment you type or scroll.

Themes

Four themes, one for every hour.

Daylight for the day, Rice Paper when you want warmth, Night Flight after dark, and the softer Distant Hills late at night. Every theme keeps body text at 7:1 contrast or better, with syntax colors that share one lightness and differ clearly in hue.
